Kai Booker – Managing Director

I have worked in HR for 15 years and for the last decade I have operated as an HR Consultant, which I still thoroughly enjoy due to the variety and challenges I get to encounter daily.  Alongside my clients, I have experienced the ups and downs, and the weird and wonderful aspects of business and HR, which is what motivates me to do the best I can each day. I take great enjoyment from developing long lasting relationships based on trust and understanding.  I have gained extensive experience in the public and private sectors and across many industries.  I am a great believer that the principles of HR remain the same regardless of the industry. 

I pride myself on taking a commercial, level-headed, and empathetic approach to any HR situation or project.  I think it is important to have direct and honest conversations (free of HR jargon and business speak) whether with clients or employees. I seek to give as many options as possible to resolve a particular situation because each client is different. I am very lucky to work with Danielle who keeps me focused on what I am good at and will not let me anywhere near the tasks that I am not.  Due to of my time in HR, I am fortunate to have an extensive network of reliable HR associates, along with providers of all manner of business services from Health and Safety to Occupational Health and everything else in-between.

Outside of work, I am lucky to have a big family, which keeps me happily occupied.  Beyond that I enjoy rugby (though watching not playing these days), military history and politics.  I am proud to live and work in the fantastic County of Essex and operate across the South East and London.
